Shrek the Musical Jr.

Meet the famous green ogre, Princess Fiona and their friends in this musical based on the first film. Humour, songs and dance: The whole Shrek's world is on scene!

The students interested in working on a musical from 8ELP auditioned in December for roles and back stage positions. The team of 38 students has been working hard with their teachers Rosalie Leprêtre, Suzanne Veith and Johannie Jacot since February. They have learnt 16 songs including I'm A Believer. They have learnt choreographies and they have created many costumes and sets, including beautiful hand made bird wings.

We have had a student technical team responsible for playing the music, and we had a student invest in the projections to highlight the plays presentation. The backstage team will not only assist with the scene, set and prop changes. They will assist our performers to change into their many costumes as they play numerous parts in this dynamic and fun loving musical.
