Our Voice for Rare Diseases 2023
in support of Rare Diseases for India
Since 2017, Our Voice for Rare Diseases is an annual fundraising and awareness-raising event, which brings together members of our school community in support of the research on rare diseases.
This year, Our Voice for Rare Diseases for India will take place on Thursday 2 March from 15:00 to 18:00 in the Centre des arts, during the week of World Day for Rare Diseases (28 February). The event will showcase students and adults singing, playing music, dancing, and more. It promises to be a warm, generous, informative and fun event for our community, and it is open to all.
A rare disease is defined as a condition that affects less than 1 in 2,000 people and requires special combined efforts to manage it. There are more than 7'000 listed diseases. Rare disease research is crucial to providing patients with the answers and solutions they need, whether it’s a treatment, cure or improved care.
All proceeds raised will go to NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders).
