Storytelling is an effective and powerful tool, connecting people and communities in war zones and educating them about the "other" ’s narrative. It is a source of transformation and humanisation.

The "Mid East Storytellers" exhibit showcases the stories of Palestinian and Israeli peace-builders, created on the premise that their stories are a medium for amplifying the values of the peace-building community.

The concept was launched in November 2020 by the international organisation Alliance for the Middle East Peace in partnership with the Geneva based, Swiss registered association B8 of Hope and the communication agency Pendulum.

This inspiring collection of stories reflects the voices of Israelis and Palestinians, paving a path for a respectful coexistence based on equal rights, dignity and security for all.

The Mid East Storytellers concept was finalised through concrete workshops for 2 successive cohorts of Israeli and Palestinian participants, in 2020 and 2021. The participants produced several media: their photo-portraits, testimonies related to their identities as pro-peace activists, photo-illustrations of their stories and corresponding audio recordings.

All materials are available on the Mid East Storytellers platform www.stories.allmep.org/home.

The Centre des arts of the International School of Geneva is delighted and proud to host this exhibition and help amplify this message of Hope !
